I miss Smoothy. Wasn't a fan of him at first, but thought he did really well for us in the backend of last season when he got his opportunity
 
I'll be honest, I had no idea who Gale and Coric were until they took the field last night, but I thought they did quite well. Sounds like they're late bloomers, but wouldn't mind them getting another crack to see what we have in them. Preston Riki ain't it for me, so keen to see if these guys are up for the challenge

Sorry, he doesn't meet the clubs signing philosophy, he needs to be over the age of 35 and not capable of offering more than our current group of plodders in the forward pack.
 
That Horsburgh rumor most likely has weight since it's Canberra related, apparently Dobbo lives in ol Rics back pocket. Also Kev was keen to recruit him back in 24 but he patched things up with Ricky an stayed.

Torn tbh, it's adding an undisciplined Prop to the most undisciplined Team, I think twice this Season I've watched him give away a Penalty while IN possession.

That said he was solid in 25, average this Year so he should fit right in.

Discipline and attitude is an issue considering the players we have in this squad already. Very up and down player. Great one year, average the next, Great again then Shithouse. Rolling a dice on which Horsburgh you get each year.

Nonetheless with Jensen and Haas gone I would like to have another middle forward that can be in that echelon. Willison, Barnett, Carrigan and Horsburgh really is a good front row rotation, with Talty, Semu, Francis, PRiki, Coric all able to provide value as depth. Willison, Barnett and Horsburgh all have second row versatility as well which means if we can get a decent benchie or back up we can **** one or both of Hunt and Gosiewski off.

Ultimately, this is just about the only outcome outside of re-signing Willison and Mariner yesterday that the entire forum wants to happen.
 
I'd back Horsburgh to have a good first season at least, if we signed him. I think we need someone like him or Carrigan will be burnt out by round 10. But after year one, who knows what would happen with Corey.
