Hi all,

Thought I’d jump on and see what the general feeling is about the game over in Hull, it seems like most people are really buying into it.

It’s been brilliant having your lads over here and seeing the coverage in the media. There’s definitely a real buzz around it.

We’re hoping for a close game, but we’re not getting too carried away with expectations.

Personally, I think we need occasions like the WCC to keep rugby league growing. It might be the number one sport over in Australia, but games like this are massive for us and help put us on the map.

Fortunately we have two grandpas playing in the 7 and 9 and its cold, so they will both probably pop within the first 15 mins.

What you really need to do is contain the back five and all the best with that. Additionally, if you shut down Haas which never happens, you still have Willison to deal with and he's projecting to be almost as good.

Our second row is our weakness, target that and you are a chance...unless Head Gear Riki shows up and not Jordan Riki - they are two different players.

It really shouldn't be close but our boys haven't played together in months, its cold and wet and we will be way out of match fitness. You guys have already had a hit out, albeit a terrible one but at least you've blown the cobwebs out. I expect it to be close if you can slow us down and/or our fitness isn't up to scratch.

Big agree, and it's why I was glad to hear we/Hull KR made it work so the game could be played.

The last few years I have really enjoyed watching ESL games, so hope these sorts of games help get more eyes on the English product too.

Looking forward to the game, and glad we look to be taking it seriously even though it'll essentially be our first 'trial' of the season.
 
So I guess we don't find out the team until gameday?
