Given how much you vehemently defend this disgrace of a club, how do you feel about the way the Storm have handled this?

What have the Storm done wrong?

They tried to make their team better and give up as little as possible? Is that an indictment that they werent desperate enough for the bloke?

Every club does what the Storm just tried to do. Except this time a club actually stood up for themselves instead of folding and giving away the player. Credit to the eels.

They will need to do it again because it isn't actually over. Other teams are going to come forward with offers.

It was a direct quote from the court proceedings about a month ago... storm lodged a contract to the NRL portal knowing that he wasnt allowed to return to the NRL as part of his Parra release.

“What we also know from the documents that have been subpoenaed is that prior to the Melbourne Storm approaching Parramatta for discussions to get its consent – that he be able to play for the Melbourne Storm in the competition this year – they had entered into, in effect, a contract,” he said. Mr Moses said it had been discovered that a preliminary version of the agreement had been placed on the NRL portal prior to the Storm approaching Parramatta.

Absolutely I despise them for what they did 20 years ago and the fact they still show off those trophies and tried to celebrate them with the NRL's blessing until the public rightly rebuked them for it.

They also get kickbacks because of gambling money and Tripp's company now miraculously can provide shares to their players, all legal of course, because of the betting dollars.

Again though to put something back on you, do you honestly believe the Storm would have been willing to cover the Eels' legal fees AND not get Lomax if they had not done anything wrong?
