NRL 2026 Round 1 Discussion

Not trying to be funny here, but i think this Parra style of footy will rattle Brisbane.

They seem happy to throw caution to the wind and offload and play adlib footy. I find Brisbane struggle agaisnt that type of footy.

Already nervous for next week and we haven't even finished this round yet.

Yea there will definitely be a bounce back from them next week too. They'll be rightfully embarrassed by tonight.

They'll also be absolute saints and not concede a penalty or six again all game
 
Surely Eels don't plan to burn 3 subs each week on their hookers.

They've gone Smith to Da Silva, back to Smith now back to Da Silva...

Least of their worries now shipping 50 but still

Da Silva is terrible... so every chance Ryles will see the light and not even pick him next week... and then straight back into the team for Rd 3
 
Another 50 point game to open the season on home soil. Hope it’s not an omen.
 
All of Parras passes were hitting legs and in slow motion

It was the same last year, it’s like they start their pre-season when the season starts
