I think we will see some changes all be it most forced maybe but Madge did mention the left edge defence and like he shown last year he wasn’t afraid to make changes … I’m assuming Anderson will come in vs his old club 🐴

We've started our own streak against the Storm ... It's currently sitting at 2 wins (would be 3 if we didn't loose both halves to injury in the same play, plus a strike back)
 
We will flog them, after losing to an incredibly beatable Eels team, it would be so us.
 
Sounds like Reyno is likely to be out.

I think we'll turn it around and get a win or at least show something more, but I still think we'll end up making someone like Chan look like a superstar for 80 mins with our edge def.
 
Storm 50+ and I think they'll do it ****in easy.

Tawha is, I’m sorry to say, a bad recruitment decision thus far but hopefully can start turning it around.

All five backs are not even close to what they were last year but who do you drop? You aren’t dropping the Australian centres and the wingers were great in 2025.
Arey should be out ‘injured’, were better without him sad to say.

I agree with the team list.

I honestly don't think Bunt at hooker is working either, definitely nowhere near as much impact as what Billy had coming off the bench. I like Paix, because I know he is trying his hardest out there with effort.

Bunt / Mam combination just seems like the best moving forward. In 2024, Bunt was the leading try assist halfback too and did some heavy lifting with Walters when Arey and Mam went down last year. Walsh can convert.

Staggs had a better game this week than last week. Walsh dropping the ball twice from kicks needs to stop. Our back 5 and their errors need to all improve.

I am not too critical on Mam's defense, primarily because it is half the 2nd rowers' fault too. Who were JGos and Aublix, both defending horribly, until X came in and at least managed to defend. Hopefully Piak comes back, or they try J Hunt.

Aublix has had 3 shocking games. He needs a two+ week in reserves. Horrible middle defense, literally opening up holes in the line with his movements. And giving a foul play penalty away in the middle of the field when we needed possession was also not cool.

All in all, if Madge makes good personnel changes, like Sproj's team list and does additional goal line defense and discipline training, we should be able to keep it close vs Storm. We need to stop beating ourselves with errors and giving reasons for the ref to blow a penalty or set restart.
