I genuinely think half of them agree with him and suck up his arse because they are concerned he might deck them. He’s a ****ing nutcase who all he has to fall back on is his strength.

Gorden CONEHEAD: easily the most hated ex-bronco by the Bronx fans... surely. Used to love him on the field but he's undone that 100x and then some. I can't watch 360 because of him. The dribble he comes up with is pathetic. His logic reminds me of when I talk to my 3 year old. I actually preferred him when he did the light hearted stuff with Matty... ah well.
SHIBA: even last year, his D was 50-50, I mean he had some REALLY critical misses in the GF, one that could have broke our hearts for the THIRD time. He's awesome close to the line in attack, esp when we are on the front foot, but get into any arm wrestle and he'll let in tries for sure, esp with Ezra on that side.
REYNO: Super sad to see how its all unfolding. For the life of me I don't know why you wouldn't go out with the GF win last year, its the "PERFECT" ending. He had his moment in the Prelim.
How about this for a quirky tactic: Have him in the 6 man bench here and there, (maybe play a cup game here and there), use him dinner-suit style when the game suits. (i.e. we are up by 20 with 10mins to go, etc.) Let Hunt play 7. Use Reyno during the origin period, etc.

The problem with the storm and bellamy is still there and a big reason why they havent won anything without c smith. They out SO MUCHA emphasis on every, single, game, that big games they dont have any more gears to go up. Bellamy needs to chill the **** out through the season. They highlight the broncos game every year like its a bloody finals game, even if we are bottom 8. They met us in the gf, what was Bellamy's halftime motivation speech? "You know all those things i said to stir you up 100 x before in normal season games against the broncos ? Ye, that again"

This has always been my theory with the Storm.
They start at such a high standard right from the start of the season and generally maintain that standard.
Their issue is that they don’t have another gear to go up come finals time - they’re already in top gear. In the Smith/Slater/Cronk era, they could get away with it, now not so much.

Broncos never seem to react to ammo anyway... it's not like Haas put a target on Stefano in the GF, he just played his normal game.
Patty is the only real hitter we have in our forward... Piaks tries but then either knocks himself out or gets binned.

Bit of a weird comment. Why would i pick Gos? He been consitently below average. Shibasaki hasnt.
For this season so far, Mam has been awful as well. Walsh in defence has been bang average so far. If we are picking blokes on what they are doing right now, there are numerous players who deserve to be dropped. This isnt me sticking up for Shibasaki, this is me calling a spade a spade. If you drop one player for poor displays, you stick your neck out and give everyone who doesnt perform a rocket.

He can be a way better player than Shiba, but right now he isnt. You can only judge players on whats happening now. Last year is a fantastic memory but nothing more now. You are only as good as your last game. I more think its harsh he's the one singled out when plenty of others were as bad.
Your comment about Walsh just backs up what i said really. Talking about him in defence, he is capable of coming up with a big moment on occasion, but as we also have seen, he's poor positionally, lazy sometimes and isnt that great under the high ball. He might be the best attacking player in the game, but he's also got a lot of flaws that will stop him becoming a true elite player. You cant be elite if you arent top class in all areas.

He forged a tough guy reputation in his playing career and I respect him for that, however, if all he had to go off was what he's done as a media personality, he'd have nothing.
Sitting opposite Badel and going back and forth, Badel was completely unphased. He deals with this shit every day, CONEHEAD was throwing barbs across the table like Badel was supposed to be intimidated by any of it, he wasn't.

I feel like we are having two separate conversations here. I am not discussing if Walsh or Mam is elite. I am saying that based off the last game both Shiba and Mam's defense was ****ing shit but if Maguire is selecting one to drop Shiba has had a career of shit play all around and one year of good play where his defense was still ****ing hopeless, he also brings less to the team than Mam.
