Was listening to some beak on BIAB earlier and had to turn it off. Last I heard he was saying the media including Gordie were all into the Broncos unfairly etc.

Today he was talking about the club going too far taking his name off the conference room. The club didn't remove his legacy, remove his accolades etc etc, they changed the name of a conference room from someone who now aligns himself with another club, and has shit on the club for years, to represent one of the games and clubs best in the NRLW. It's very different to 'ripping up his legacy'. In the eyes of many fans, CONEHEAD did that himself, but the club hasn't done that.

Did they do this to send a message? I'm sure as shit they did, but nobody is saying his playing career with the club is no longer valued or recognised.

Did have a giggle when the code sports guy (I think) said he works a bit with Gordie and that he is "so smart in everything he says". Genuine belly chuckle.

I think you can have the opinion that it's a bad look and seems petty etc...but claiming they have stripped his legacy? If they start removing photos of him, scrub his name off team lists etc then yeah, you can start having that chat. They changed the name of a room ffs, that's all.

Right? The club finally bites back and they're the worst in the world. The line I just can't cop is people saying he gets paid for his opinion. There's a real difference between an opinion and an agenda imo.

CONEHEAD has never been onside with the club since he went into the media, he came back around when Kev got the gig but now, he's back into ripping in.

He came across looking like a pussy last night, I think he got more backlash than he was comfortable with, particularly from the club.

He's not ahead of the ball. He's still in a position to receive a flat ball from Hughes. But it doesn't really matter if at the point of contact he was ahead of the ball, because he was in a position to receive the ball until Hughes changes his mind and decides to do a different play and he can't stop on a dime.

Talty plants his feet, lowers his body and starts to lean in with his left shoulder. What you do when you're preparing yourself for the tackle.. Then at the last split second realizes Hughes isn't passing but it was too late. You can't commit and then at the last second change your mind and expect to get a result.

Either way, Talty being taken out had no impact. It's a try.

yeah this annoys me. When did we get confused that doing something bad for money actually makes your a worse person than if you’re just doing it because you purely believe in it.
