In the Titans vs Dragons match he blew 28 infringements (17 penalties and 11 set restarts)

Which is only slightly higher than the NRL average so far this season of 20.06 infringements per game (10.25 penalties and 9.81 set restarts)

The NRL have reportedly officially claim that he didn't get assigned games this week was planned and part of the game’s referee “rotation” policy
40% higher than average is a lot more than just slightly higher

Apparently Haas needed to train yesterday afternoon to play this weekend, but there seems to be zero media coverage of whether he did or not.

Liam Kennedy was dropped by the NRL and an apology issued to Gold Coast Titans for his performance in the Titans vs Dragons game.

Now watch Titans get all the 50/50 calls on Saturday...
Has he been dropped because so many people were talking about that game being unwatchable?

If so it had nothing to do with the ref and everything to do with both teams playing like absolute crap

I cant really think of any horrendous calls that he made.

And why the hell are titans getting an apology... they ****ing won lol.

Did dargons get an apology as well?

Has seemed like walsh has been terrible under the high ball this year - is this a new thing or did i just not notice it previously?
he has the odd error in him, but to be honest most fullbacks do these days.

There was no apology, they gave an explanation on the decisions the Titans were concerned about which Sattler was happy with.

I think the apology headline was an April fools joke.

It's a blessing when any of our players successfully catches a high ball.

It def feels like we drop more balls then any other team.

Also feels like we are terrible at regaining the ball at a drop put as well. May have something to do with the lack of height/vertical leapers we have out wide.
All our backs are hopeless at the contest in the air. We're lucky if we come away without a penalty.

TBF, when you look at as a whole percentage, yes. When you break it down though, the set restarts aren't that different...but the penalties, which come under far more scrutiny, is definitely up.

I feel fine with Karapani being benched here; standards need to be met, hopefully lessons have been learnt.

However, this reshuffle to our backline sees Mariner apparently on a wing is not what I want to see. Not saying Arthurs will do a bad job or anything.

Lets hope we get our best back 5 in there next week.
