FOOTBALL English Premier League 25/26 Discussion

****ing hell how did PSG mess that one up there?

2 on 1 with the keeper and they **** it up.

Liverpool just need to hold for 3 more minutes.

3-0 ends it all. 2-0, it's difficult but they still have a chance at home.

Probably not the worst result for Liverpool.

They could have easily lost that game 4-0, but going back to Anfield 2-0 down, it's difficult but they do have a chance.

outclassed but somehow in it still. they passed us off the park lol

Slot has moaned about how teams in PL setup and how football should be played, even highlighting PSG, only to turn up against PSG and play a back 5...

Id argue it somewhat worked, keeping it to 2-0 and the tie not yet completely done, so completely understand doing it, but not after youve bitched multiple times this season about it being done against you.

Saw Carra was critical of that as well.

How Enrique isn't more in demand baffles me.

Is it that he's not in demand, or that he's happy where he is and other clubs can't really compete with PSG's financial power?

I think plenty of clubs would be stoked to have him, but he's only ever going to leave PSG for a handful of big clubs.

If Arsenal dont win this game imo they're going to throw this away to city

Yeah they're done unless city also choke it. They're deeply entrenched in their own heads.

That could be a costly loss.

If City win their next two games, which includes a game against Arsenal, they're only 3 points behind Arsenal with a game in hand.

That puts the pressure on Arsenal..

If after that last 5 games they still think Carrick is the answer, we are beyond ****ed. His counter attack setup will only work against the top teams, and we'll continue to struggle in games like today. Putrid.

well, we huffed and puffed, but ultimately too much class for us.
I'm not going to say I'll be glad to see the back of Salah due to everything he's done for us, but it will be nice for our right side not to be a complete graveyard.
