I’m not sure how you can be dropped from refereeing an be placed in the bunker.

I think if we didn't play so badly against Panthers, we would have beaten them or at least it would have been a lot closer.
We played so bad, bombed a few opportunities. Our defence was pretty good but the weight of possession for the Panthers from the amount of errors we made took it's toll.
If we played better and completed high, different ball game.

Hands up if you saw that coming? Not me.
Panthers still the team to beat, but just goes to show. Regardless of being the better team, you have to be the better team on the night.
Easy to consider your form variable and other's static, but a week is a long time in rugby league.

Everything was super clunky from penrith last night.
I'm not sure you'll get a worse game from Yeo and Cleary again in the near future... even errors from Edwards.
And then Talagi compounded it further by deciding tackling was optional.
The rest of the supporting cast seemed to be doing their job, but the two guns that run the show were having the worst games of their careers... I don't see that happening when the stakes are higher

Penrith have been so blessed that Nathan or Yeo have not had an injury to rule them out for the season yet. If that happens I just get the feeling that they'll collapse

Cleary's worst year is 13 games in 2024, which is pretty low and Yeo's is 10 in 2014.
Alf's lowest was 13 too, the year he broke his leg in 1989. Smith's fewest games were 19 in his last year, only time he went below 20 which is outrageous. I always considered Alf and Smith the luckiest they never seemed to miss games.
