2026 NRL General Discussion Thread

Triple M went hard. They even mentioned they turned the game off. Which I would guess is not a good look when they are meant to promote the game

Cool, I didn't know PVRL is only 6 teams. Sucks that the NRL is currently 17 though. I guess the other 11 (or 66%) just don't matter hey.

They consult all coaches and have regular CEO meetings, but not every coach wants to be on the panel, for example I imagine Hannay couldn't think of anything worse at Christmas than a coaching consult role. They rotate it every year.

They're just a conduit between the coaches and NRL rules committee. They don't make the final call- a lot of coaches wanted the scorers kick, and it didn't get up.

They consult the beejeebus out of this stuff, the safety committee, the inovation committee. Any coach or CEO that says they didn't get a voice is a liar.

Donaghy chairs the club consult committee.

Again, because I know you struggle with comprehension badly. Read the link I put there about the two hands. Also, have I ever said the Panthers and Cleary only get special treatment?

As is usually the case with you, I really have no idea what you are trying to say.

Haven’t see anything yet @Brocko
Weird, I've been a member for quite a while now, if they sent it to longest time members first? No idea sorry. Came through at 10AM on the dot.

If it helps, my unique code was just my 5 digit member number, and I redeemed at link below.

Nah that`s not the case .
You were wrong and you are paranoid . But , we all have our strengths and weaknesses so don`t take it too hard .

Wrong and paranoid about what? I mean, I have no problem saying I'm wrong when I am, my post history attests to that but hey, I've choked this thread up enough. I'm going to leave it here.

Thanks mate! Can confirm this works. I am a member but didn't get the email however putting my member number in at that link worked.

So 11 coaches couldn't be bothered turning up to discuss the actual game itself and the rules that would be used to govern the game for the entire season...the exact thing they are training toward and have to adhere to. Aha, if what you are saying is true, the other 11 clubs are run by morons. This would be the single most important meeting you would attend in any given year for anyone with half a brain.

How could someone read what I wrote and reply with the complete opposite as their takeaway.
