Id love to get an experienced genuine 3/4 option like braiden burns (although doubt cheap enough), as well as a genuine backup fullback option. Arthurs is definetly good enough to be our bench option/battling for the wing but should be 3rd-4th fb and centre option at best (good enough to cover any off the bench with injury).

I think we need another prop (kaiden lahrs?) and a quality 2nd row option (6 signings including barnett and pezet).

Yes its a lot but we will have a lot of spots to fill and we're losing a shitload of cap space. Haas, reynolds, maybe hunt or walters, anderson, maybe arthurs, shibasaki, alot of mid or just above min wage players as well possibly. If arthurs and b hunt re-sign they will be taking big pay cuts. Duffy is the only player i can think of that might be getting a decent pay upgrade.

Tuilagi has began exploring his option at rival teams

I don't really know too much about him, although i certainly recognise the name. just throwing him in here because he's a backrower and we have a dire shortage of those.

so thoughts?
 
Have only really seen him this year at the Eels, and nah. He's been pretty damn bad defensively.

Maybe on backup money he's better than Jetski/JHunt... maybe

He's definitely better than Gos... who knows when it comes to Jhunt... feel like he's been here for 3 years and has spent about 40mins on the field total.

And in the rare periods where Hunt finds his way on the field I feel like he's not bad, but he just never gets a run.

Tuilagi seems like a guy that runs good lines and he can get through 80mins week in week out, but never holds down a starting spot, and the common complaint is poor defence.

He might be best suited to ESL with those traits

Great hole runner and tackle buster, just what we need in the backrow. Only concern is his defense, which I'm sure Madge can improve.

Seems you haven`t watched him the past cpl of seasons .

He stands in tackles and offloads whenever he feels like it these days .
 
I’d love to get Cobbo back because I’m always going to have a soft spot for the kid, certainly not for his insane ability to drop the ball frequently and repeatedly though. He’d be good depth though but I’m sure some desperate club will throw cash at him so its a moot point.

Dolphins apparently looking to extend him... they must be easy to please, because Cobbo looks a lot like he did last year and his drops seem to be getting worse.

His position is probably left centre with a reduced workload... I'm expecting dolphins to eventually go with him at centre when Bostock returns, but Cobbo's form has been really bad to start the year.

This is the guy I reckon scored 2 tries thanks to our fragile defense last we played Parramatta.

From memory, he has scored every time he played against us. The thing with him though is, he lacks concentration often during games and gets benched. Probably why Eels went after Sua.

I would say that he’s better than Goski or JHunt but not reliable/dependable so, pass.

Think he would be suited to the extended bench come on and roam through the middle also gives you decent coverage if a back goes down.not sure what sort of value you would place on that 600k?
 
Apparently Jacob Preston is going to market on Nov 1st to test whats out there.

Now THAT's the profile of guy we go all out to turn his head.

I dont want the Bulldogs to lose him necessarily, but they are expensive simply because they buy everyone they want on the market instead of bringing youngters through.

But this is a guy who 'could' become the leading 2nd rower in the comp in his prime, who "could" outperform his next contract. Yep, thats the guy you go all-out to get....
