POST GAME [Round 7, 2026] - Broncos vs Tigers

Fox literally laughing about Payne's injury and brushing off our injury toll as not that bad, all teams have injuries, we're still dangerous.

Let's see who we finished tonight without (between injury, HIA and bullshit suspension) or who's not fully healthy:
Both starting props.
Star FB, and his replacement.
First, second, third and fourth choice hooker.
Star centre on one leg (other one practically missing but let's ignore that for now).
Star 2nd rower with a foot issue.
5/8th on one leg.
#7 clearly struggling to stay fit but holding on somehow.

Losing 2 players (counted above) during the game as well.

I challenge ANY other team in the comp to play like we did tonight with those outs. Fox were banging on about Eels' 8 players out this week, well **** me we're positioned well worse than that but it's all good because we're a strong club.

NSWRL make me so ****ing sick. Give the boys some goddamn credit!!!

I've started counting them during games and I had it at around 9-3 but still a whooping. Great unexpected win and I thought Staggs and Willison were our best tonight. We need to lock Willison up to a long term deal. Seems the more minutes he plays the better he goes.

Oh and can we shoot Shiba into the sun. A passenger in defence and I lost count of the amount of times he over ran Ezra who had to pull the pass back and take the tackle.
Yeah I don't think the NRL.com is recording all of them... sometimes there will be two in two tackles, but it doesn't update on the live page

I'd love to see on what tackles the 6-agains were given. ie, if they're given on the first, the 6-again would only give an extra 1 tackle to the set. Because while it might be a count of 9-3, it'd likely be an extra 30 tackles to 5.
That's why if they keep it the rule should be one 10 tackle set followed by a penalty on a second infringement in the same set. Also there should be advantage given for the first tackle at minimum because some teams "Panthers," will give them away knowing there is a high rate of tackle one erros.

Surely Hunt gets charged post game. How is that different to a chicken wing, a joint being forcefully twisted to injure.
By the stupid rules I don't know if the action was actually 'illegal'. He wasn't a 3rd man in hitting that low, he was already in the tackle and dropping.

NRL gone way overboard on hipdrops, and this is the same impact and end result and apparently okay.

Guess we'll see.

I expect to see absolutely nothing on the charge sheet tomorrow, like there was nothing for Neame last week despite a worse hit than Pat's. It will never be mentioned again.

I don't feel sorry for the people who tipped the Tigers. If I remember correctly we were on $2.10 win the match. As I said to them never tip against the broncos because they will suprise you

FFS…I knew I forgot something… put money on the Broncos.
I’ll say it again… Tigers are shit, easy pay day.
