POST GAME [Round 7, 2026] - Broncos vs Tigers

You can tell the blokes who haven’t watched much Bukowski cause they are to busy creaming there pants over his pass to see how out of his depth he was.

He’ll get there one day but he looks a fair way away from first grade still unfortunately. Defence not remotely adequate unfortunately, and was thrown around if he ran it. He hasn’t been great in cup this year but nonetheless probably further away from first grade then I was expecting. I had a little more confidence he would be more reliable than he was. As long as Paix and Rogers are fit, he isn’t pickable imo.
Terrell May put a target on him and bumped him off first tackle to almost score a try... from that point tigers found their spot man in the line.

Looks really undersized at this point and under Vlando footy blokes are huge and fatigue is real.

He'll get there, but you can see why Madge has been holding him back until the literal 'break glass in emergency'

Surely Dangerous Contact or even the generic Contrary Conduct. Normally I'd expect it to be swept under the rug, but it's Haas, the best prop in the game, a NSW player, and have you heard he's going to Souths and will make them almost certain premiers? If it gets confirmed it's a decent injury, the NSW media will have to point it out. It wasn't an accident, and even if Hunt didn't mean to injure, the action he took was deliberate and should be stamped out like chicken wings or grapples.
Almost a blessing for the tigs if Royce “fat bastard” Hunt is suspended. They’re better off leaving May and Twal on

Thought Bukowski had a very nervous debut. He did himself proud but didn’t look close to NRL. Could just be first game nerves.

It’s funny, there isn’t a big gap between Bukowski and Mozer in cup but Mozer looks far more comfortable in first grade at this stage (even comparing Mozer first few games).
Look he has as good a pass as any hooker in the NRL. Exceptional at it and that’s where a lot of his hype has come from. But for mine at no stage has he ever looked in the same conversation as Blake at cup. Biggest myth and misread ever in this forum. It would be like trying to compare Coby Black to Tom Duffy prior to this year (not quite severe). Just not remotely plausible.

Cameron has only ever stayed in this conversation due to the lack of consistent footy from Blake to string some games together and get into some serious rythym and form. Cam has just as much potential, completely agree there. But at no stage have they looked similar in ability. Baffles me that argument even exists. Blake had a couple lazy efforts in defence his first few NRL games and the lot of you went completely off him and started sucking Cam’s dick instead. Cam has a significantly better pass (but that is deadset nearly the case with every hooker) I will give him that but he doesn’t come close in any other facet at all and definitely not as a total package.

His pass is a thing of beauty though and that creates serious value to teams.

Looked like the Opens team were short some players so put the young kid from under 16s that grew up down the club on the bench and gave him a run.

He's obviously got the skills needed to be back there in the future, just not yet.

Yeah ...I wasn't gonna to say anything about his pass

Rodgers went alright......

Yup, thats valid at this moment however, poor Mozer needs is a break from injuries and a bit of luck to get role in 17 for consecutive weeks. With BHunt & Billy unavailable, I thought his moment has come and he would gladly take the opportunity to cement his position only for JT2 to have other ideas as they were playing their GF.

Coming to CamB, it’s just the nerves from the kid. This experience will give him a lot more confidence to develop at a rapid pace & he’s destined for a long 1st grade career.

I won’t keep deep throating Buk (@FACTHUNT you’re up), coz I agree he was physically underdone for the game and perhaps for first grade.
At the same time, size can always be added, strength will come and he’s still just a kid.
The passing game and attitude?! You either have it or you don’t.
He has it in spades. That’s all I’m saying.

Far too many people in here patting themselves on the back by putting others opinions down.
It doesn't validate your opinion or make it right.

Well said. I think that's what most of us think.
His first step into NRL was injury enforced. His skills were there but his physicality is not, yet.
He's still down the pecking order when the rest are fit.
