POST GAME [Round 7, 2026] - Broncos vs Tigers

I really hope Adam can keep this form up, not just because I want the team to win, but because I don't want his legacy of uplifting this club from its darkest day to a premiership tarnished with the afterwords of "but he went one year too long".
I don't really think Reyno will get remembered like that.

Maybe he's gone 1 year too long, but it's injuries that keep taking him out... someone like Darius definitely tarnished his time by going too long, he could no longer compete physically, but Reyno is still a top 5 halfback in the league if he's fit and is the least concerning player in the defensive line.

Darius was also on huge money in the cap, whereas Reyno is on an extremely team friendly deal and has been for his 2 extensions after the initial 3yr deal.

We've also had decent back up in Bhunt when Reyno has been injured, so it's not even been that much of a concern if he does end up getting injured.

Reynolds would have to play like 3 or 4 years too long to even have a chance not to be remembered as one of the main guys that turned the club around. He's Humpty Dumpty stuck in a timeloop that way he falls apart every few weeks but he's already a Broncos great in my opinion.

Reynolds will retire a Broncos great as he should. He is nothing like Boyd. He has put the team first and he has won us a premiership in his twilight years on reducing money. He isn't thieving a massive pay check while phoning it in. It is insulting to Reynolds to even put him a conversation with Boyd. Reynolds has had injuries but has never given up. The same cannot be said for Boyd who often just laid on the ground rather than tackling.

and most importantly, no gender reveals after getting flogged.

I will always regard Reynolds highly and was a big contributor to our Grand Final win.

But Boyd is a awesome player and a more accomplished than Reynolds.

What's everyone's thoughts on Karps try? I would be pretty annoyed if an opposing team was awarded that

It looked like Api fell off the tackle and by the time the second guy came in Willison's ball carrying arm was off the ground.

Camera angles show that Api is around the ankle again at some point, but it's very tight and does look like he falls off the tackle initially.

As soon as I saw the first replay I thought try because he fell off... I'd be thinking the same if it went against us.

The bunker can't overturn it though.. you can't have the onfield ref call play on and then the bunker comes in later and penalises them. It's basically a discretionary call on the field which is outside the bunker's scope

It looked suss. But the thing that sways me is that Willison played on and threw that pass with no hesitation. Players know if they are held, and you never see players throw a ball like that in that situation, they'd go for the super-fast PTB if they thought the tackle was complete.
