Carrigan and Walsh likely back but probably lose Piakura and Piki. The rollercoaster continues.

And the Riki brothers were only just reunited!

Geez, it's nice having some reliable depth in the forwards. Piki was really good, Semu did not look out of place at all, Gos did a good job, Talts is Talts, Hunt was also there....

A knee injury he has been carrying, I was under the impression it was mostly precautionary.
We were pushing into their 20 near the end of the first half and he tried to support himself off that knee and then recoiled in pain and limped for a good while after.

Definitely an injury, he was just toughing it out.

Shame about Piaks, was probably staring down an origin jersey this year. Say Jett kills it tomorrow against the Hunters, do we perhaps see a debut?

So given we lose Piaks and Piki and get back Walsh (hopefully) and Carrigan:

1. Walsh
2. Karapani
3. Staggs
4. Shibasaki
5. Mariner
6. Mam
7. Reynolds
8. Willison
9. Paix
10. Talty
11. Gosiewski
12. HGiki
13. Carrigan

14. Rogers
15. Semu
16. Junt
17. Bryce
18. Verhoeven
19. Duffy

I said this last week and the week before but I am strangely least confident about this one.

Yes we get walsh and carrigan back but with piakura and piki out our forwards are gonna have to put in ANOTHER huge shift.

The bench will be even more light on.

Seriously, **** the nrl with that piki suspension. Why are our players the ones the "letter of the law". Carrigan and piki deserved what they got IF there weren't about 300 examples of Sydney based players getting off this year. I mean look at the judiciary panel.

Roosters forward pack should be able to roll over us. That said we've shown such character in defence that we're in every match if we defend well

Its ridiculous that Burton doesn't get a suspension, that was the most dangerous tackles we've seen in some time.
100%... Staggs could've copped a serious injury from it.

Staggs feet were off the ground, beyond the horizontal and Burton's actions drove his head into the ground.

It's well beyond Grade 1.

NRL is just bullshit with their optics... it doesn't look like the stock standard drive through the hips and flip them over.

But the charge isn't "dangerous spear tackle"... it's "dangerous throw"... but because it didn't look like a spear tackle no one in the NRL could figure out what they were looking at
