If Merc get the starts right they will avoid all the early overtaking fun and you'd see a lot more complaining about the product in general.

Kimi's car was legitimately untouchable
 
I think the new regs are farcical. All the overtaking just seems so sterile now. You overtake me, I'll just use my battery to scoot right back past you, and you can't fight it because you don't have enough power left in your battery. It's really diluting the spectacle.

I'm still not sure he would have got Oscar without the safety car. He still had several cars to pass and Oscar was pulling away pretty much. I really feel there is going to be a lot of frustration for him tonight. Kimi might have still got him but I'm not at all convinced it was a fait accompli.

But yes, the current cars are not making it fun to watch once Mercedes hits the front.

Kimi's pace on hards was just ridiculous, as well as his last few laps on mediums pre SC. Any fresh air he was a rocket.

Oscar may have been a chance to hold him without a SC, sure, but Oscar only had a chance due to the Merc's poor start yet again. At least he showed some good pace and was mixing it with Ferrari and Merc, it wasn't sounding too promising in the lead up.
 
This is massive news.

2028 start with promise of eventually becoming team principal its reported.

Assume very much this could signal the end of Max at Reb Bull at a minimum, but maybe more likely Max ending his time in F1.

Great signs that McLaren are back in sprint qualifying. The unexpected five week break might have made things a lot closer thankfully.
 
Pretty boring sprint with both McLaren finding pace, especially Lando.

Qualifying was alright, very mixed top 4 with 4 different teams. See if Kimi can get a start right

It’s only a small sample size but least there’s been a small step forward in all top four teams seemingly competitive. Anything could happen though with the rain on the way.
 
I definitely wouldnt complain if the race got brought forward over fears of the storm. Start it just as Man Utd game finishes please
 
Lawson just stops to let Max through after he spins and bumper cars the whole first lap.

Its actually ****ing ridiculous they have 4 cars on track they can use for strategies etc. Such a joke
 
Anyone else watched yet? Haha

Good race in the end, Max with an incident with pretty much every mid pack car going back through the field, dive bombing at every chance.

Rain looked possible but never came enough to cause havoc
