I think Pezet is more like Reyno... his strength is his kicking game (short and long), so him playing 6 would be like Reyno playing 6 outside Moses.
My biggest concern with him is his defence... it looks woeful.
Hopefully that's just him having to play on the left instead of right, but it looks real bad at the moment.

Same here, was quite excited for his signing because of the lack of halves in the comp but this does concern me. Seems like the kind of dude that struggles to put on weight, and can only drag dudes down with a hip drop.
Agree with others though, if we can keep Hunt and Duffy for next year it's a really good place to be.

Yes, ideally Pezet would be developing in the NRL, but if he's not up to it yet, developing in reserve grade is not the worst. That would be preferable to being over his head in the top grade, losing confidence, and not being able to improve.

NSW Cup is a strong comp so it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for him to develop his game there.

Yeah this too. Better to be in Cup at 7, than NRL at 6. His learning off Moses will happen at training, and he can implement it when playing Cup and improving.

Pez is a worry however, I have faith Madge won’t guarantee him the 7 if Duffy is sticking around and deserves it more.
It’ll be very interesting to see how it all plays out.
There is a world where the Bears could reach out and ask if we were interested in letting him go to Perth. May never actually be seen in the Broncos colours.
Especially if Duffy lights it up when he gets his opportunities throughout the year.

This thought has been knocking around in my head for a few weeks if I'm honest.
If Duffy works well with Walsh in his opportunities this year and keeps his form in cup, he should get first crack next year IMO

That should be the absolute last resort, in case of emergency break glass consideration imo.. the upsides of playing at the broncos and succeeding are infinitely greater than heading to Perth
