POST GAME [Round 10, 2026] - Broncos vs Sea Eagles

We are a busted, frustrated team at the moment. The wheels haven't fallen off completely yet but it's getting there. We have just been utterly crueled by injury. 1st half was the usual fury toward the officiating, then we fell apart in the second. Horrible games from Carrigan and Mam (the latter has to be getting close to thin ice territory, he has been ordinary all season so far), Walsh pretty quiet, Hunt invisible, forwards utterly dominated.

Back2back weeks in Sydney have made for very frustrating viewing. 3 straight games of what felt like nothing but defending in our own half. We must get our territory game back on track. The return of Reyno's kicking game should help with that.
 
Probably our worst team performance since we played Manly last year.

No line speed, no meters, a billion errors... didnt seem like we had a plan. Dont think we could have played any worse. Team just looked dejected the whole game.

But if last year showed anything, its not the end of the world. Need to get to that bye and get our players back.

Just mark this off as one of those games, and get back to it next week.

We'll be fine.
 
We were just dreadful with the ball. Injuries really catching up with us. I think we had a crack in defense but a lot of our better players were still on the bus in attack.

Couldn't get through one game without and injury or suspension.

Not one single player can hold their head up after that, all very very ordinary.
Hunt and Mam were diabolical. Ezra has been MIA all year and needs some time in cup.

I will say Madge has to take some blame for this loss. Some of the positional decisions have to be questioned. X on an edge, Hunt back far too early. Paix playing 80, wtf?
Duffy should have started, we all said it days ago.
At this stage Hunt cannot be re-signed for next year and I’d almost be going with (at this stage)

Also pretty disappointed in Patty. After giving himself 2weeks on the sideline he should be the freshest out there. Looked very disinterested tonight. Never seemed to question the ref, just rolled over.

Pathetic display.
 
We just had too many 1 and 2 out of 10 performances to do anything. Walsh went Mia, mam horrible. Hunt doesnt have a big enough boot. Our pack looks tired, understandably.
We need troops back
 
Our backs just can't make metres out of yardage and we don't play hard on the advantage line because the service from Paix is terrible. Hope the takeaway from this game isn't the completion rate or dropped balls.
 
If you want to save yourself from losing respect for bit players trying their best, I’d suggest not looking at our team’s run metres

They dominated us physically. There were hardly any yardage runs where we weren't monstered and had a slow play the ball.
