2026 NRL General Discussion Thread

The strip ?
The other two look legit to me one is the bumper , the other a don`t argue fend which are both allowed .
Two man tackle strip nah .
I didn't watch the game, but I think they are referring to them all being 'bumpers up'/elbows up, and only the far right one was penalised/charged.

The 'Striped' down the bottom is I assume the name of the Tigers page/Forum that this pic was originally posted if that's what you are talking about in relation to a strip?

Who is Luke Metcalfs manager? They are giving this bloke such poor advice or he is just an absolute dickhead. He doesnt come across as this though.

2027 Last year... I think we are going to see a panthers reunion at the chiefs - apparently has desires to be a coaching director

Smart play from Ivan. PNG are about to take their good players on insane overs and the bears will prob pillage their jr base. Riff are about to go back to being a bottom 8 mainstay if Nathan also leaves.

I wonder if Nick at 85 years old is writing a cheque too good to ignore so he can see a rorters "super star" team that no-one honestly believes is under the cap win the comp one last time.

I think the career coach will become less and less; the job is too big now and there is so many other jobs in football you can do.

Ivan's been at it for 20 years I think for successful coaches that will be the limit.

Mal changed the perception of rep coaches too and made that a viable career choice not just an add on for the premiership coach or oldest coach.

Smart from Ivan, leave before it starts to go back to normal at Penrith.

Either that or he just can't stand that abomination of a new stadium either.

Well there will be a Melbourne cup field of guys wanting the coaching job.
Penriths phones will start to run hot later today.
