POST GAME [Round 11, 2026] - Broncos vs Warriors

That was a bad watch, Our senior players should be the guys leading from the front when the chips are down, but their not, they are the guys giving away the 6 agains and the high sjop penalties and the poor ball control etc.

Madge are the presser will say "injuries are just an excuse " and he is right but man it also highlights how poor we are outside of our top 17.

Both Hunts, Shiba, Mam, Preston Riki are all stealing a wage.

I worry we give the dragons their first win in a few weeks. And im not 100% sure this side is a lock in for the 8.

I am not calling end to our season at all. People were after our heads in rnd 13 last year when we were 11th. And that was with a stronger side than current.

There are just a few little irritations in the squad that we need to fix, and until we start getting personnel back, we will have to bide our time.

Piakura and Haas are the key I think.

And getting Arthurs and Shibasaki off the team ASAP.

Unfortunately, we don't have that luxury. Arthars has definitely been the better of the two. Wing is his main position, so I'd go Arthars/Staggs and Shiba/Kara.

But Arthars has played centre better than Shiba too.

Either way, Shiba needs time in reserves.

We need Payne Haas desperately. Getting completely ****ed up in the middle and then causing penalties and set restarts because of it. Carrigan considering he is a leader has been very ordinary, looked alot better when he was off for 2 weeks and Willison was in his spot. I don't think the spine is a big issue they just need momentum and field possession, we are losing these games from ****ed momentum at the start of the game

So we asked to see Junt.
Yeah, nah. Madge was obviously reluctant and for good reason.
Aublix - no.
So we shift Willison again and weaken the middle.
Bring in Gale.
3 seasons since Capewell left and Piakura was depth and still no competent depth 2RF.
TBH we were never going to win today, but with a bit of luck in 2nd half (Walsh and Karapani), and a bit less fatigue in the legs, it may have been 30-22 with 20 to go...
Sure Carrigan maybe gave up 1 poor ruck infringement, but at least 3 in the first half were inexplicable.
Talty needs to learn to tackle anyway when he was called not square (again questionable call)

I thought Preston Riki went ok. Not sure what his stats said but seemed like he was poking his head through and making decent post contact metres.

Yeah well he is probably looking at another week off for that hip drop.

7 runs for 70m (24 PCM)
34 tackles (2 missed, 2 ineffective)

Not sure how Priki avoids that non hip drop. The Wahs player is on his knees when contact is made. They are just calling any contact like that a hip drop in game and sorting it later.
Meanwhile Haas gets a deliberate totally avoidable tackle with force driving through the knee causing an 8 plus week injury and crickets.
