That was a blatant second effort from Arthars. The tackle was complete with Riki then Arthars jumps on and both him and Riki go on with the tackle. Riki then uses Khan-Pereira as leverage when he gets up and Khan-Pereira forces Klein's hand.
I even have question marks over whether Khan-Pereira even had possession when Riki initially pushed him. Would have been little in it.
I.e: Dominant tackle and regardless, AKP then rolls himself into touch. Suspension for bringing the game into disrepute (I jest about this)

Walsh rushed in on Te Maire forcing him to pass the ball and allowing Shibasaki to shift onto Pompey.
Obvious penalty.
I'm not sure we are talking about the same one as I'm not watching that trash again but is this one on the goal line where Klein calls Walsh out and Walsh stands there with his hands up and then gets penalised?

Are you referring to this? Arthars was ruled off-side.
Now if I was the Broncos, I'd take note and see if there was an alternative angle but chances are he was in fact off-side.
I.e: A 50-50 call at best, if you are going to call that, you should be blowing penalties just about every tackle.

It's just a matter of whether you think Carrigan was entitled to lay in the ruck. No doubt he lays in there but you could certainly argue that since he's made good contact and turtled Ford that he was entitled to stay on there longer.
Again, if I'm the Broncos I'm keeping note of this but if you show a neutral fan this or a similar tackle I don't think they'd call it a howler.
He has his arm up and looks like Ford is holding him down. It certainly isn't an unusual length tackle and unlike almost every single other tackle in the game, Klein says nothing, no direction to get up or anything. Even if you give it a penalty, there is so much doubt as to what is going on there that you simply cannot bin a player.
What other incidents do we have?
Already mentioned. The inconsistencies in ruck speed adjudication. No binning for Tuaipiki and I'd argue even Barnett got lucky not to be binned but to not even have a penalty is just incompetent.
Of course, you could certainly say Piki was lucky not to be binned either. So that is what it is. AKP must be also feeling pretty content he wasn't given a straight send off and only 10 in the bin.
Basically, it had to be blatant for NZ to be penalised or in some cases, nothing even happened. For Brisbane, anything that was 50/50 at best they were getting pinged for.
As usual, I also don't even know what 90% of the six agains either way were for.
Now on the flip side, these are absolutely penalties:
- Riki hitting off the ball, no matter whether he pulled out
- Talty taking out the kicking leg
- Piki's tackle as mentioned
