Ashley Klein is a corrupt dud

Exactly like I said. Everybody in the NRL headquarters wants one of the biggest clubs commercially to fail.... you are exactly right.
Not fail. They’ll still milk us dry every year. But they care more about fairytale storylines and headlines. The Broncos are those when they win, but they’re also those when they lose.

Same with our owners. They don’t care if the media is positive or negative about us, but as long as our name is in the media they’re getting clicks. We are a money making scheme for them, no more, no less.

Not if its your chest it doesnt. And if you are correct that he did get him in the head they missed it live then do you believe that was reportable and should have been changed?
What do you mean if I'm correct? It's right there in the picture. You can watch the video, I even time stamped it for you. He clearly makes contact with the head. I believe the fact he's tackled him without the football certainly makes it reportable. Even so, the standard is lower when they're reviewing a general play (eg. captain's challenge).

Where exactly in the picture does he hit him in the head with his shoulder? Maybe its a penalty for a head clash but there wasnt much force in it. Tackling somebody a split second after a play is not reportable. Thats not how it goes. Its a bang bang play

Left shoulder/upper chest. There was enough force in it to send Walsh off for an HIA and hitting a player without the ball is an aggravating factor. Katoa-Preston was a 'bang bang' play and Preston still had to cop a stint in the bin. It doesn't have to be a reportable offence in that instance either for the bunker to rule a penalty. Like a captain's challenge, there's a lower threshold.

It's just a matter of whether you think Carrigan was entitled to lay in the ruck. No doubt he lays in there but you could certainly argue that since he's made good contact and turtled Ford that he was entitled to stay on there longer.

Again, if I'm the Broncos I'm keeping note of this but if you show a neutral fan this or a similar tackle I don't think they'd call it a howler.

What other incidents do we have?

The ones that stick in my head are the set from around 18:20, Pete (21:40 on the countdown clock). Score was 4-0 and we were starting to gain some field position. They had received 1x 6-again and 4x penalties by this stage.

We received our first 6-again for Egan's hand on the ball when tackling Patty. The immediate next 2 tackles - particularly the first (JRiki) but also the second (PRiki) were ATROCIOUSLY slow in the context of the game and how it was officiated. Silence from Klein. I was not silent, I can tell you.

The next tackle on Karapani could also be argued (it wasn't so bad), but then the one after on WIllison was also bad - I think Klein called 'milking' when X had both arms fully held by Barnett(IIRC) for many seconds after the 'held' call. Then Reynolds shoots his grubber out of a cannon and Mam looked like he'd done his hip landing on it when flying through.

It's not the ones which are given which are necessarily the issue - it's the ones that aren't. That entire set was slow tackle after slow tackle after slow tackle and we got nothing. We could have had multiple sets on their line, they could have had someone sent for 10 for repeat infringements - anything could have happened. The way we played we would most likely have botched it but the issue is we weren't afforded the chance to build pressure through repeat 6-agains or penalties like those awarded against us.

@LittleDavey you shouldnt be liking anything about high tackles against Broncos players after you went off your tree the other night about Matt Lodge being sin binned. You said it wasnt even a penalty. Laughable shit.

And we all know why. Because it happened to a Roosters player. Throw @BroncsFan in there too. "Tackled too hard penalty". I guess you were outraged when AKP went to the bin for an identical coat hanger? Right? Yall cant be taken seriously. Straight pisstake

No he went to the HIA bin because the doctor stuffed up. He never should have went to the HIA because he didnt show anything after the shot. He sat on his ass and watched the play. He didnt roll around like egan.

Mate I can like what I want on my team's forum, you're welcome to leave if you don't like it.

I don't think the Lodge incident should have been a penalty. But the way the game is, yes, it was. Doesn't mean I agree. I made a comment in the live thread that AKP should not have been binned too, I'm sure, look it up champ if it bothers you so much.

EDIT - I take it back, I wasn't around on here in the first half. I thought he was hard done by though I have no evidence of it on here.

If you think that Lodge tackle wasnt a penalty you have lost the plot. He nearly decapitated him lol

It shouldnt have even been a penalty on AKP going on your rules. Bring back the 80s. Can't run without heads.

The Jordan Riki one I could almost live with because the Warriors drove him back but Capewell did carry on with it.

The Preston Riki one was just blatant from Fisher-Harris.

Good call.

I don't remember the incident but IIRC initial contact was with the arm/shoulder then it bounced up? There's been a few of those lately and I don't like those ones being pinged because the initial contact is fine and bouncing up is incidental in most cases.

In hindsight, penalty probably warranted @JayPee though I've seen worse let go a-la Radley's flying head the other week. Sin bin was over the top though regardless IMO.

He came out of the line and hit him with force. He may have been unlucky for it to bounce up. Thats why I thought it could have went 60/40 yes to the sin bin. Thats exactly the same as the AKP hit. Ran out of the line and smashed up off the chest into his neck.

You didnt make a comment about the AKP hit in the live thread at all by the way. I did however find another fave..... karapani apparently grounded the ball off the walsh kick. This is what I mean. You can't be taken seriously because you are not even the tiniest bit objective.

If there wasn't any force why would the doctor intervene? The Warriors shouldn't have it both ways here.

We've established there was head high contact and there was enough force to warrant the doctors to intervene. I'd concede the Broncos were unlucky not to receive a penalty.

The referees were perfect (as always). The only sane conclusion is the independent doctor is corrupt.
