I can cop play Gos in the middle if we have to for 10-20 minutes against a fatigued side.

I would rather Carrigan start on the bench as he will still be recovering from origin.

In fact if we are flogging these guys madge would have the option of not playing him at all and giving him a complete rest.

There are more important games for him in the weeks ahead.
