POST GAME 2026 State of Origin

On the contrary.
Klein and PVLs mates, made a MINT tonight. Imagine the back channels running hot on the gambling at 20-6…

Are we all on? Good. Watch this boys!!
22-20.
It's very hard if not impossible to get anything decent on a live bet these days

Count for me all the other shoulder charges in the past 3 years across the NRL which have:

a) Been deemed penalty sufficient;
b) Been sent to the sin bin; and
c) Sent off.

Honourable mention if you also count those which have occurred without any of the 3 actions above.
Zero wrapping motion, came in with a shoulder hits Koula in the head pretty black and white. https://x.com/i/status/2059615439651811423

Medical Retirement for @Midean & @Broncosgirl.
You heard it hear folks. Both are out and you won’t see anymore interaction from either. Sorry to see you both go 😢
Why won’t they see me?

With or without League, I still value this community. Doesn’t mean I have to stop talking to people who I enjoy talking to just because I fell out of love with the game of league. 🤷‍♀️

Over the last 20 years, I can count on two hands how many games of league I’ve actually missed. Kayo is gone, I can always watch a replay of Broncos games on YouTube somewhere, I don’t need it any more.

Same as Walsh send off he was slipping both Suallii and KP made no attempt to tackle Ponga shoulder smashes into his face .

You're talking about an incident that happened two years ago like guidelines haven't changed since then.

Like how NRL changed the guidelines 12 months after that. Why do you think Walsh wasn't binned in the Grand Final?

Suaalii also left his feet and wasn't making any attempt to lower unlike KP and KP's first point of contact is head on head and frankly any contact with the shoulder is minimal.

It's a rubbish call and not a send off.

Shoulder to head at full force no attempt to tackle it's send off plus they take into account injury on the affected player. If KP at least wrapped his arms different story the fact he went shoulder first. Yes it's shitty as we better side and they only won cause of that buts was correct call

Full force is Suaalii launching himself like a scud missile and leaving his feet. Ponga lowers his body position, slides in and braces hoping to knock Koula into touch.

Sin Bin? Sure.

Send Off. Absolutely not.

How on earth was Koula cat 2? He was out before he hit the ground according to the highlights.

The NRL made a statement early '25 that one of the things they look at in acts of foul play is whether there's mitigating factors. If there are, the punishment is less. The NRL's own guidelines say it's not a send off.

Quite frankly the video you posted doesn't support your claim of full force with the shoulder to the head. It shows head on head first, which is why Ponga's ear was bleeding, and then shoulder on shoulder and if there is any contact with the shoulder to the head, it's not full force. It's shoulder onto head. That itself is an important factor because if it's shoulder onto head, that doesn't meet the criteria for a send off.

It also shows Koula's height level dropping, which is another very important factor.

The fact that Ponga is only receiving a fine is pretty telling, as well. That same tackle at club level hasn't even been a send off.

At worst, it's a sin bin. It's just not a send off.

They called Koula cat 2 but he failed his HIA. So he will miss a game while Ponga won't. Lol

The picture on the left doesnt look great. The picture on the right looks better. He did get him with the shoulder but the slight fall its not a send off. Sin bin more than adequate. Bit **** me mate he has to change up his technique a bit. He does this kamikaze shit all the time coming across as a sweeper. Was bound to happen eventually. Shame it ****ed the game.

I dont understand some of the rotations after the send off. Capewell was dying out there. Shibasaki has to come on. Loreiro didnt come on until late so he had the chance to get an actual center on the field. Why was Nikora on for so long? I don't want to bang on about the guy but Hamiso has to be better in those fullback spots. Happens too much to him positioning wise. Cant get outjumped by Tedeaco in that spot. You are too big.

Never a send off

It’s feral you need to explain this, it’s ****ing disgusting.

This right here is why this country is going down the toilet.

Literally, someone trying to justify a reality that isn’t real.

It’s visual, you can’t unsee the seen. How is this debatable?
