Ashley Klein is a corrupt dud

I also swear there was a knock on, a really obvious one just after they got given 6 again which was just….let go. I drank a lot that night though so can’t really trust my memory completely. Don’t think a replay was shown. All anyone is talking about is the ponga send off.

Probably a rule like the ankle tap which is considered a trip by the rules but never enforced

Can you show us that in the rule book ?
My father used to complain about ankle taps . I always thought ankle tap was with your foot / leg .
I have watched rugby league for 50 years never once heard that ankle tap is illegal other than from my father who is 80 .

Because it's not.

If the Ponga hit is now a send off we are going to see many many more send off's (and the associated suspensions) from NRL games moving forward.

Run across the field at full pace tuck your arm and shoulder charge the ball carrier who is also running at full pace , to the head ,then clash heads with him for good measure
We don`t see that very often . So maybe not as many send off as you predict ?

AI can make mistakes, so double-check responses
Errr… I’m not that great with computers…… I know what google is and I know what bhq is…and YouTube. But that’s about it

How do I double check it?

reference: law book - section 15, law 1 (d), and notes to law 1(d), page 38.the Code: (2.4) AnKle tAps Are not permitted.Application: it is an infringement to ankle tap the ball-carrier. this is not to be confused with a defender who makes a genuine attempt to wrap his arms around the legs of the player.reference: law book - section 15, law 1 (d) and notes 1 (d), page 38.

Where is the one in question we were discussing? I can’t be arsed reading the whole thing.

A player in possession shall not deliberately and

unnecessarily allow himself to be tackled by

voluntarily falling to the ground when not held by an

opponent. If a player drops on a loose ball he shall

not remain on the ground waiting to be tackled if he

has time to regain his feet and continue play.

This is one I read that I completely disagree with btw and I’m glad refs don’t rule it to the letter of the law. If a ball carrier runs behind his own guy and realises it so takes a voluntary tackle I’m fine with it being play on….as long as they don’t take an advantage.

The quoted section is from Safe Play Code for Junior Rugby League . Page 62 of the PDF .
Nothing in the NRL rules re tackles . Tackle and Play-the-Ball page 23 of PDF .

The first question I quoted was asking the question “is ankle taps legal in rl”……and got the answer I posted.

The second time I asked if it was legal in nrl and got quite a “hypocritical” response compared to the first….it doesn’t make it so clear..

I fear this thread is veering dangerously away from rightfully and endlessly bashing how shit and / or corrupt Ashley Klein is, so in the hopes of getting this back on track...
How shit is ashley klein at potentially a few thing in general, but mostly related to his reffing?
I reckon heaps shit
