POST GAME [Round 14, 2026] - Broncos vs Titans

Something is just wrong in our team chemistry, I keep hoping the next week will wake it up but it doesn't seem to be happening.

just seems like an off season after the high of last year, we have way too many good players to just be a shit team.
 
Wonder what Reyno was alluding to in the presser when he said things going on behind the scenes which would be sorted.
 
- Arthars really annoyed me tonight. Shit catching attempts and way too many passes after kick reception.
- Walsh was timid. He'll cop a lot of shit rightfully for the 2 defensive efforts, but first one doesnt happen if Hunt isn't ass, and Anderson should have cleaned up the last one anyways and missed a simple tackle.
- Duffy after return to field in first half was really ordinary in attack. 2nd half was a bit better.
- Mam better this week until last play, but theres still no chance anyone around that ruck was onside.
- Defence by our 2 hookers was shit. 1 miss in particular each were glaring. Hunt is completely done.
- Piakura needs to calm his brain somehow. We are better with him and he has some great moments, stuff like not even paying attention on that bat back though...
- Jetski... christ almighty. Not his fault but he just isn't good enough to be a regular first grader.
- Lack of fight to play the ball from pretty much everyone bar Staggs and Haas is a problem. In like the first minute after HT, Talty just concedes to his back and doesn't even fight at all. Theres many other examples it just stuck out to me as it was so fresh after HT.
- Line speed at times is just non existent. Combine that with us somehow always having 1 or both players left on the ground instead of at marker and its just metres for days behind the ruck.
- Our support on breaks is ass again.
- Another frustrating night out at Suncorp with Alex Glenn.
- Hopefully we get another clothing brand announced this week

Just think… they’d be on 5 in a row about to be 6 if it wasn’t for the Broncos.
All it ever should’ve been is back to back, again, thanks to the Broncos, but that’s another story…

Yeah that’s basically everything covered honestly what does Adam provide he’s honestly not providing anything he links horrible with Walsh and Duffy looked a bit rusty in the first half I’d give it to him because that’s his first game in a month

Yeh this was piss weak how he was doing this. One play he threw a really stupid long range pass to Walsh who then threw a really long range pass to karapani to make a hitup off a kick for no gain whatsoever, Arthur's consistently avoids taking the hitup because he gets belted. Missing mariner running the ball hard

Honestly the post-Lockyer era has been a tough grind.

I always knew it was going to be tough but had some hope with that 2015-era team... To this day I think the 'Broncos' never recovered from that 2015 GF.

We had some awful, AWFUL periods after that and honestly bar a few epic wins, 2018-2022 my memory has effectively shut out the trauma...

Then 2023, Walsh just kills it... and then that GF again.

2024, back to normal

2025, Walsh happens to just kill it again.

2026... here we are.

I can only imagine the pain that tigers/dogs/dragons/eels supporters have been through... but surely we are only a rung above bar 2015/2023/2025 in the last 20 years.

Its a mental drain... cause if you love the Broncos, its been a tough tough 20 years.

Thats why last year was so special.

I don't think I posted for a long long time until last years drought breaker.

Anyway, what a ramble... it's just painful to see the Broncos like this... PARTICULARLY with the squad we have.
 
Another frustrating game, and honestly I think so much of the attack issues won't get resolved until Rennyo hangs them up and we have a change at hooker. Imagine a Panthers side with that much ball and territory in a game. Gos is awful, the club is absolutely cooked if he gets anywhere near another contract, once again you highlight Paix who only ever darts from the ruck when he is 2 meters out. What ever has happened to Walsh he is a shadow of himself and actually offers nothing either, Arthurs if I was on the fence with another contract for him well I just fell on the side of he should be on his way.

Shining lights i feel from last night were Xavier and Piakura, both really good. And as much as I hate to say it, the 7 on the injury bench, if we have 6 of those tonight we win that, but we don't have the depth which is evident to cover these guys.

Any update on Semu??

Our recruitment team need a punch in the face for the talent they've let walk over the past 5 years.

Shit is absolutely broken off the field. The premiership has to have been accidental.
