2020 was a year where we had a lot of injuries, but no one brought that up as an excuse

At the time we did.

Granted it was over-shadowed by the introduction of the set restart. Fans felt that the team was geared towards a slower meta only for the NRL to punish bigger packs.

Recruitment as a whole wasn't great and fans had a hard time pointing fingers. One camp went after Seibs, another Wayne and somehow Louise got involved in the cross-fire.

Watching the Broncos, certainly get a similar vibe. Except in 2020 the Broncos were coming off two consecutive finals blow-outs. Coming off a premiership win, it's disappointing but it seems more like a transition than a full-blown meltdown.
