With Walsh and Mam in the spine, we don’t need a hooker to do much. But we definitely need a hooker who can pass accurately off the ground without making a player jump or move towards the ball slowing our whole play down.

World Cup starts in October, depending on who makes those teams, looks like pre season for those players will be late December again (if there’s no injuries)…..

Having Paix at 9 doesn't help either. Twice when Reyno was kicking on the 5th he received the ball slightly behind him and higher than his shoulders. Paix has this thing about having to stand before passing, it causes our runners to either have to slow up to receive the ball or they get the ball just before they are hit by a wall of defenders.
