POST GAME [Round 15, 2026] - Broncos vs Rabbitohs

Hunt passing in to the back of Preston just… this side has so many embarrassing moments in them. Especially Hunt, he can really pull them out.

I didn’t watch the game but I saw a replay of that and I absolutely cringed.
Didn't see the game either, but I watched the highlights. As soon as I saw Reynolds get run down and the poor support from the team, especially Arthur's following which we didn't score from that set, you just knew it was going to be one of those games.

Walking back to the line while in the attacking line. Footballers really do have rocks for brains. The future is bleak with some of these geniuses.

I like how all the white jerseys in the last frame are charging for the ball despite it being closer to the broncos who are just standing there waiting for someone to dive on it.

He should know to make the tackle and concede a 6 again. We concede them anyway when they aren’t warranted. I’d rather he stops the line break.
I think that period of games where we were mercilessly ridden into the ground by the refs has most certainly played a part in where we're at right now. We look so unsure and scared to do ANYTHING, like they don't know what they're allowed or not allowed to do. Same story in a tackle, in the ruck. I have zero doubt part of the confidence erosion is due to that period. Not blaming it for everything, but between the injuries and everything else, it's most certainly contributed.

This is the unforgivable part and why guys need to be dropped. Total lack of urgency or desire. Fix that and a lot of the rest fixes itself. Only a couple of these guys can hold their heads up in this respect, X, Karps, JRiki come to mind.

Paix, hands on hips. No one else even remotely looking to run. Sure, Hunt should have held the pass, but he should also expect someone to at least be looking to be interested in the game.

Why are none of them even paying attention. Did they not realize they had the ball or something. Preston Riki needs a permanent sack after just that one play, I'm being serious

Josh Rogers, a half playing middle, made more metres than:
Talty
Gosiewski

Piki made 6 more metres in almost twice the game time.

Roger’s made as many tackle breaks as all the above combined. Twice as many offloads too. He also made no errors and 1 missed tackle.

And no I’m not saying Roger’s was great but he was at least solid in an unfamiliar position. Just shows how bad our middle is when your what sixth choice half outperforms guys who do this position for a living.

And Talty is a first teamer. The team is putrid skill wise but you can compensate for that if you actually want to be there.

And of course given Roger’s is showing himself to be a decent utility, because he’s not the biggest, fastest or strongest, well let him walk.

Yeah, thats what stands out to me in those photos. Everyone is standing around waiting someone else to do the work. No one pushing up supporting hunt. The team has checked out

I think the ref thing is overstated a little. Yeah, we and other teams have absolutely been dudded, but these guys are standing around with their fingers in their ass because they don't know what to do. There are so, so many plodders in this team again.

I was surprised Rogers didn't make it back on. He was decent and offers a bit.
