Because they want it to blow over and if there isn't anything obvious linking Klein to anything then who is going to report it? They have their plausible deniability but they really ought to have stricter measures in place just to avoid a situation like this.I still dont get why they would just do the bare minimum? It is catastrophic to your business model if corruption is found. They have no reason to not take it seriously.
The investigation:They investigated him. If there was even a slight suspicion they would have canned him.
What terrible record of betting scandals and punishments do they have?
It is absolutely in their interest to. Betting companies hate being ripped off. That makes no sense. They would throw their sponsorship dollars elsewhere.
You wouldn't give an ex-addict nurse the key to the anaesthetic cupboard. Not a smart move.

As big Pete said, it was found out and investigated under a different administration. So you think people would be ok knowing the World Cup head ref (who in this instance has reffed the big games for the last 1 to 2 decades) had a history of gambling issues?
You and I never agree on anything but this is a very weird hill for you to want to die on.
And for the record, just so we're all clear, I'm not calling him corrupt. I'm calling it a terrible look for a supposed professional sport with a history of dodginess run by a guy who just also happens to be head of horse racing.
Are we really at a point in time where this really is seen as a non-event? That to me says a lot about how much people are just accepting how bad a state this sport has become.
1? Smoking 1 makes you an addict?Yep
Addicted to nicotine.

Plausible deniability? If something corrupt happened I had nothing to do with it. I promise you.Yeah that's fair and that's your plausible deniability. Of course, the rebuttal to that is Vlandys has been in power for 6 years and didn't just come from nowhere.
That aside, gambling didn't just start bankrolling the sport with Vlandal, Trent Waterhouse says hi.

You literally said it was my plausible deniability. Why would I be talking about you? The you was referring to earlier comments in the thread.
