Fair enough if that's exactly what happened.
Otherwise the Warriors have been well looked after this year.
Just some more random bullshit with no fact to it at all. I guess winning constantly equals "getting looked after" around here. Nauseating.
Would love a wider angle to see if he was onside. Granted, when your inside the 10 it's easier to get onside. However did we have another Casey McLean situation? You'll struggle to see a much more clutch passage of league as that set to win the game from Cronulla.
Kennedy smothers the FG attempt and catches it, into a Trindall 45m 2 point FG to win it later that set.
Most kick offs there is at least one player offside. Never, ever given a penalty though.Would love a wider angle to see if he was onside. Granted, when your inside the 10 it's easier to get onside. However did we have another Casey McLean situation?
Notice the referees aren't really policing onsides much. Whenever they cut to a wider angle you can see a lot of players have one foot infront of the referee which is off-side unless you're on the try line (even then you can't extend your front foot beyond the ruck).
Impressive all the same. I don't think Te Maire did much wrong either, the pass from Egan wasn't great.
These kind of graphs is the same as free throw differential in basketball. Stop fouling son. Maybe they are more disciplined than others. Create more opportunities because of their forward pack.![]()
That was Round 10.
They've only trended upwards since.
Round 11 vs. Broncos: +8
Round 12 vs. Dragons: -2
Round 13 vs. Panthers: +2
Round 14 BYE
Round 15 vs. Sharks: +2
That was a crazy catch. Trindalls ball drop never looks great and he would have kicked it from close to 55m out. Insane. You'll struggle to see a much more clutch passage of league as that set to win the game from Cronulla.
Kennedy smothers the FG attempt from like 15/20m out and catches it, into a Trindall 45m 2 point FG to win it later that set.
So I argue in facts and you resort to ad hominems. These kind of graphs is the same as free throw differential in basketball. Stop fouling son. Maybe they are more disciplined than others. Create more opportunities because of their forward pack.
Who knows. Saying getting "looked after" implies they don't deserve what they get.
It always happens. Same shit with Penrith. Winning creates jealousy.
I hope they continue to get "a good whistle". They got **** all from the NRL when they lived over here for a year to keep the comp running.
If we dont win the comp (we won't) I hope they find a way. Would be great.
It isnt facts at all. It is opinion that they dont deserve the net penalty boost just like it is my opinion they are getting what their play deserves because of their discipline. So I argue in facts and you resort to ad hominems.
Figures.
I think most fans would be happy to see the Warriors break their duck. It's just been noticeable from Round 1 they've been getting the rub of the green and the numbers demonstrate that.
To their credit they've made the most of it. Look at who's below them - it certainly has an influence but it doesn't automatically lead to wins.
The fact is that the ratio of penalties earned vs. conceded is far in their favour. To claim random bullshit was a mistake on your behalf. It isnt facts at all. It is opinion that they dont deserve the net penalty boost just like it is my opinion they are getting what their play deserves because of their discipline.
They are right up the top of completion rate too. Disciplined.
Net penalties does not prove anything because it can be interpreted a number of ways. Same with the Sharks. Have they got a bad whistle all year or they just that undisciplined. Maybe they should have a bigger differential? Maybe they don't get a worse whistle for their play?
Just because a team gets more penalties does not mean they get the rub of the green. That is total rubbish.
I dont agree but anyway. The fact is that the ratio of penalties earned vs. conceded is far in their favour. To claim random bullshit was a mistake on your behalf.
My assertion was that they've been well looked after which is a pretty logical conclusion to draw from those figures especially in light of how the game is typically managed.
I don't think it's a great look at the best of time for a head coach to go after the officials. Especially when the head coach has benefited from the officiating in a way no other coach has so far this season.
However if his version of events is correct then fair enough and there ought to be some kind of consequence to avoid the situation.
Amen. When you use them right.I await your findings!
It's always good to support your views with facts and evidence.
