PRE-GAME [Round 17, 2026] - Broncos vs Roosters

Big day today for Mozer, he plays well against PNG, scored two tries in 24, they're massive and he pulls them out of the line towards him then they are fodder when they are tired.

They are in horrible form too.

Mozer is two games back from his facial injury and played 40 minutes twice, if he can have a good game today and play bigger minutes with two weeks break, I think he can play against the Roosters.

Yep have it on good word that Reyno and Paix will not be dropped. If Madge is gonna die on this hill. He won’t get a new deal

God, the fact that Paix’s name is even stated with the other two hurts my soul.
 
I'd be surprised if Reynolds is fit for our next game. The cramp/hamstring tightness is bs imo. It was very clear he wasn't right after he took that intercept.

Leadership requires you to do what's best for the team. Reynolds continuing with this charade isn't what's best for the team.
 
Reyno probably went on a year too long.

When you see your halfback take a clean intercept, he steals a march on the opposition and he's looking for support with a fair way still to go, it's time to hang them up.

Any other halfback scores that try, any single one, take your pick.

How so ? Did one of them kick your cat, ding the car, etc. etc. ??

Surely we want RL to be in the best health it can be, and part of that is when everyone believes their team has a chance (maybe not s great chance, but some chance nonetheless).

Can’t put my finger on why. Grew up here and I’ve just never liked them since inception. SEQ pretenders.

Have it on good word? What word is that? Any player can be dropped for form reasons.

You'll have to explain to me why Paix won't be dropped but Mam can be relegated to the bench, because I know which one is more valued at the club.

I agree with this and in particular the "its the hill he will die on" i honestly think if he keeps picking Paix our attack will just remain awful. I just don't see him dropping Reynolds (not saying he shouldn't) being the captain probably stops that, and i have no idea why he thinks Paix and Hunt are our answer.

And its something that in 12 months time could well cost him a job.
 
Few things that won't happen that I'd love to see.

Anderson on the wing and Verhoeven nowhere near the team.
Reynolds to be 18-19th man
Paix to see as little time, ideally 0mins. Has become a defensive liability with no attacking threat.
Willison to spend 0mins on an edge.
Arthars to be 19th man for a QCup side, and never be allowed to play NRL again. It surprises me how a professional athlete at 27-28yrs old can be so weak AND slow.

I like it all. Verhoeven has talent but he isn't ready yet.
 
Saw a stat on Reddit today that the broncos havent been able to name the same 13 two weeks in a row....
