It looked like he was just coasting and not even trying to put himself into a decent position to support. It was really poor effort and match awareness from him.

How did he end up so far infield?

He was the right winger on an intercept and he ended up 20m in field... got easily outrun by Johnston and Gray.

I kind of thought Reynolds was slowing up to try and position him, but Jesse slowed up when Gray committed to Reynolds.

Pretty standard for broncos to not be able to finish off a bog standard play

Yes. Two weeks in a row I’ve forgotten he exists.

But seriously I don’t care who is picked as long as Arthars isn’t. That lack of support was sackable. You know your captain has no legs and so you don’t even bother trying to provide him an option. If he were a rookie, I could kind of forgive it but he’s playing for a new contract somewhere and he pulls that out. If I’m a coach, that’s a guy I’m not picking because it looks sure like he isn’t buying in or caring.

Don't forget it took the Broncs (back when they were the Broncos) the best part of five years to crack it, with practically the best part of the then QLD origin side on the roster - a convergence of circumstances not likely to be repeated any time soon, if ever.

Putting all this at arm's length for a second, I'd like to see the day when all the QLD outfits are not just solid top 8's, but legit top 4 material and even serious contenders for a title.

Depth players are all digging in. I.Katoa is a generational player, makes the game look so easy.

They’d still have to beat Penrith with no previous finals experience at all. I don’t see that happening this year.

God I hope Paix time in that 9 jersey is up for this game. I cant stand to watch him anymore and even his tackling has gone down hill. If Mozer is fit I would just throw him straight to 9 because its not like we have lots to lose.
