FOOTBALL FIFA World Cup 2026

So who do we want to win between Paraguay and Turkey?

Crazy that Almiron was given a straight red card for covering his mouth while passing a comment to Muldur.

That's one of Paraguay's best players gone and they're down to 10 for the whole second half.

How the **** have Turkey not scored a single goal in either match?

He was also the ref in the UEL final between United and Spurs and was obviously terrible

Do we have to beat Paraguay now to go to the next round or will a draw be good enough?

Okay cool.

Cheers.

Do you think we have much of a chance?

If you were to look at the games prior to the World Cup, this is the one you would circle as the one we win. If we play like we did against Turkey, it's a very winnable game. Good chance of a draw at the very least.

It helps us that Paraguay will be without one of their best players.

Oh wow .. that sounds promising.

I don't follow Soccer...
Watch our international games that's about it.

So is their best player out because of the red card against Turkey?

Yeah, red card is an automatic one game suspension.

We can still make it through if we finish 3rd, but it's crucial we don't as we'll be playing France or Germany in the first knockout round. We'll still have a tough opponent if we finish 2nd (Belgium, New Zealand, Iran or Egypt), but nowhere near as tough if we finish 3rd.

Thank you for the information @Super Freak

Yeah Aus should be confident but they need to start with the side they had in the second half v US, not the first half.
