Absolutely, he knew there would be an issue because of the rule based on racial slurs, etc. Doesn't matter what he said, these are the rules, he has only himself to blame.

You've answered your own question, they don't know what was said, hence the rule. You can't say something to the ref that could be derogatory. Whether it is or not is irrelevant, the rule couldn't be clearer.

And if they’ve said nothing at all but do an action like this. You really think soccer players wouldn’t try to take an advantage? In a sport known for diving. If they want it to be a rule then all players should be micd up. It’s a stupid rule.

Must admit i think its a more than fair rule considering some of the things that go on. Having them all mic'd up could be an option, especially in a major tournament, but they were all warned not to do it so i find it hard to have any sympathy for it.
These days, i think all players take advantage. I cant think of a sport that i watch that has physical contact now that doesnt have players diving. If a player can milk something to exploit a rule, they generally do it.

In the nfl coaches will quite often cover their mouths to conceal their tactic deployed because the opposition has lip readers employed.

It's going to be either Belgium or Egypt. Out of the two, Egypt is more winnable game. In saying that, Belgium aren't as good as they were in the 2010's, but they're still a very very tough opponent.
