I heard that, Jack Howarth, Joe Chan and Shaun Blore are being moved on by Storm.

Surely, we go for one of them? They can all play 2nd row. I am hesitant with Blore, just because he seems like he'd get in trouble by doing something stupid.

Joe Chan is my pick. He can play centre and 2nd row.

What's happened with Joe Chan that storm are jumping off him?

Sounded like they touted him pretty highly all the way up until first quarter of this year

Idk, apparently, they are going for Bronson Xerri to fill the centre spot that Joe Chan usually plays as backup for Meaney (even though he is leaving this year). They did sign Cooper Clark first too, and they also have Lisati.

I assume he might be chasing more money after all the hype.

But, they have been off Howarth and Blore since the start of the pre-season. But Joe Chan is the new one.

I also think Joe Chan and Jack Howarth aren't AMAZING at either position. So maybe they are looking for a more specialist centre and 2nd row.

Media do tout up players after one good game too.

Blore had an offield incident didnt he?

I'd be interested in Chan... he looks too big to play centre, but seems mobile enough for backrow and also gets through 80mins.

Yeah, common assault. Don't know the details, it could've just been a drunken scuffle, but in saying that, probably not the type of heat we'd want at the club. Granted, that was in 2024, and he has been clean since. But, you just don't know. Considering you have Joe Chan, who can offer more to us.

I think he is too big to play centre week in week out, but it saves us from carrying a centre and 2nd rower on the bench.

If we sign him AND Kelma Tuilagi. We'd have 2 players on the bench that can both fill 2nd row and one can play prop/lock and the other can play centre if need be.

They’re playing with a sub-80kg, green af halfback and a garden gnome sized fb + their depth is worse than ours

I cant see where the next win comes from lads, honestly this club has basically checked out.

However, whether it is right or worng, our front office still believe we are in a premierhsip window.

Otherwise, why bring in Barnett, resign Walters & Hunt?

But are we just fooling oursleves here?

Pretty soon, the band-aid has to be fully ripped off - and you start again.
