Broncos Roster, Signings and Rumours Discussion 2026

If he does leave he'll probably be injury free for years, but he has picked up bad injuries at what seems like every single time he was going to kick on or get extended runs of games with us.

Disappointing for us so can only imagine how disappointing it would be for him too.

Broncos going hard after Rocco Berry from the Warriors. Solid but unspectacular player and is injury plagued. Would of much preferred to keep Grant Anderson.

Still holding out hope that we got in the ear of Bishop Neal. Pretty certain he would debut and get quality game a lot sooner here than over at the Warriors currently.

Read an interview with him the other day, he's a Kiwi through and through, it kind of almost laughable he qualifies for origin given he was in Qld for what, one maybe two years max? Even so, he's contracted to 2029 so even if he wanted to leave, the Warriors aren't going to let him. Even so, doesn't sound like he wants to leave.

Nine years.

I can only dream then of a Tupou Francis and Bishop Neal combination. Francis was 100% feeding off Bishop's energy and surging runs in that origin game.

How good would they look together in a Broncos jersey. They would make such a devastating duo. The foundation of a future premiership level pack. Going to have a lump in my throat seeing Bishop Neal team up with Leka Halasima and Laban instead.

It would be really nice to poach another club's gun up and comer for once, that's for sure instead of ours being poached and not being replaced.

Off Contract: Delouise Hoeter, Gehamat Shibasaki, Hayze Perham, Jack Gosiewski, Jaiyden Hunt, Josh Rogers

*Could potentially be released to go chase an NFL contract
** Is reportedly in the process of re-signing

The Broncos are set to meet their November obligation of naming 24 players in the squad. I could see Hayze sticking around for another season so even if Te Kura goes I don't see any hurry.

They need to get a wriggle on with Willison and lock him up. I'd want to get a start on Piakura and Mariner as well. You might have to upgrade them early to keep them long term, so that's something to be conscious of.

If they can sign a backrower and an outside back, they've done well. I like the idea of a Kaiden Lahrs signing and future proofing the front row position. However I don't think the situation is as dire as it's being made out.

Lahrs named this week for his comeback from round nine. He's running out of time to impress anyone.

Price has been much better this year. Lahrs might have to do the hard slog and sign with a Cup team and win an NRL team over that way in pre-season.

You don't have to do much to convince me on Tate's nephew.

It doesn't necessarily have to be Kaiden and I get the impression the Cowboys will lock him up. However I want somebody in that 21-23 year old age gap.

Maybe now he's got a taste of the Dolphins like his Uncle he might stay there and love the place.
