PRE-GAME [Round 18, 2026] - Broncos vs Sharks

And when we are talking about hooker attack, how many times do you see Paix pass to a ball playing lock, who then passes it to a half then to Walsh?

By the time the lock gets the ball to the half or Walsh gets the ball, the defense is in their face.

If you want to fix Paix's attack from the ruck, literally just cut out the ball playing lock.

How many times did Haas get a bullet pass from Mozer in last night's game (And Patty in previous games) , and tried to ball play out the back to Walsh or Duffy/Bunt, and the attack just gets shut down. Staggs and Arthars have literally zero space to beat the defender.

And we literally won a GF with Paix at hooker?

Literally, we get most of our tries when Paix is on the field...
You might want to sit down for this. We get most of our tries when he’s on the field because he’s on the field more than any other hooker. His involvement in those plays are minimal. Even Andrew McCullough has a highlight reel or two. Paix just slowly shuffles it on.

Deine Mariner is on track for a return to the NRL alongside five injured teammates. Mariner has been recovering better than expected.

Patrick Carrigan, Deine Mariner, Billy Walters, Adam Reynolds and Ezra Mam are all aiming for a return next week against the Sharks.

Because he's always on the ****ing field!!

Our attack is 12th this year... attributing it to Paix is not a flex
I'd say the reason we scored more points when Paix was on had more to do with the fact that the Roosters ball handling and discipline in the first half was pretty shit. How quickly things turned around once they held onto the ball.
