POST GAME [Round 18, 2026] - Broncos vs Sharks

I really want to see Maguire make a tough call with the cavalry returning. I get he hasn't been able to do it because of all the injuries but if he has a future with us, he really needs to drop one or more of Bunt, Shibasaki and Paix. That said, I actually thought Paix was alright this game, he just isn't consistent and even when he is alright, he isn't great.

I am curious how you are measuring that ?
Mozer threw the pass behind the #7 on the 5th . A big no , no . Got bumped off on the ground in a tackle again , and got folded when he went for a trot from dummy half .
Not exactly the 2nd coming of Cameron Smith yet .
Did you notice how for the first 60 minutes of the game we never made it past our 40m line. Then when mozer came on we managed to get over half way and put up some attacking kicks. Imagine if mozer gets some time when everyone isnt ****ed and we arent behind on the score board.

These people are trolls right? Theres a few new ones with no profile pictures acting like the refs love us. I need to see how many times they’ve posted #PenaltyBroncos to their twitter pages before I make judgment
wtf I've been here for years mate. Not everyone has to share the exact same opinion as everyone else. I think we've been completely hosed by the refs for the majority of the season, but **IN MY OPINION** since the Dragons game we've been given a pretty fair whistle, but the boys simply haven't been good enough to win

The thing with Paix is his service from dummy half is up there with the worst in the comp. Slow pass and placement is bad. A big reason why we're dead last in metres gained. When Mozer has come on, you can see the difference immediately. Faster pass in front of the players, and holds up for a second at times and forces the runners to catch the ball closer to the advantage line. Also likes to take a couple of steps out to engage the markers.

I will say that Paix is currently a much more solid defender than Mozer though, and that's probably why Madge plays him so much, because he has a lot more trust in him defensively....but our season is over now, might as well give Mozer the defensive reps and get him some much needed experience for next season

If it’s on 125k a year hunt is a reasonable signing.
Yeah it would be great to have a veteran with his experience around on that salary. The only issue I have is it likely becomes a Darius Boyd situation where they've gone on a year too long, but the coach is forced to play them each week because of who they are, despite younger talent needing the opportunity to play.
