Loeiro came flying out of the line in the GF and landed a shoulder straight to the face... only a sin bin and Grade 2 even though he was off his feet and came in recklessly with zero mitigating factors.

Earlier in the GF Hughes hits him with a high shot and Piaks is taken off for a HIA.

Last week Ramien hits him high and he's off for a HIA... zero punishment for Ramien but we lose our starting backrower for 3 quarters of the game.

Officiating of this sport "entertainment" is ****ing cooked... they will deserve the CTE lawsuit when it comes in

That was definitely the Sharks game plan, they were going high every chance they could to get him off the field.

Is this as full strength as full strength gets? Paix out for Walters and I think that's as good as we can look this year.

It's a given that the Panthers will just roll up the field every set but we could at least counter and do the same when we have the ball. Now we'll just have Paix feeding the ball to Reynolds, who'll crab across the field, and the ball carrier will get picked off.

There's no imagination with our dummy half and in this current rule set that is criminal.

I've mostly given the benefit of the doubt, but Shiba over Anderson and Piki over Semu, and no Mozer or Billy...
I just can't support those decisions.
Surely this is last chance for Shiba, and not getting NRL minutes in to Semu is inexplicable.
I know Bunt can cover halves and hooker, but he's been playing too poorly to be continually picked.
If a 2nd rower goes down (Piaks) it better be Shiba being pushed in!

I'm not as upset as others. This is 12 of the starting 13 that played in the GF. We must win every game. Why not give that team a chance of redemption? Perhaps once we are mathematically zero chance of making the 8 that is the time to look towards next season.
