Ummmm Kobe Hetherington...?

What's the go with the bench in 2026? We can carry 6 on the bench now? Can 14-22 change up until game day? Same number of interchange?
Yes.

4 Interchanges
2 Reserves

Teams can make 8 interchanges.

The squad is reduced to 20 players 24 hours prior to kick off. Then the final 19 is submitted an hour before kick off. Teams can still only play 17 players unless they meet the criteria to activate a fifth player.

It's a step in the right direction but they need to figure out the kinks. It was really unfortunate when Walsh went off against the Titans and denied Semu his debut. His family came to support him and he was told he'd play, instead Verhoeven got the shot and I don't think his family was aware.

Actually I take most of your opinions with a big grain of salt, and don’t really let things on the internet offend me. I give my theory some merit to it, yours gets none.
Yes your theory about a player who just returned from ACL surgery getting minutes in Q Cup has wayyy more merit than the unexplainable, weirdly inconsistent calls that happen for us every week.

We are talking about a guy who had a bitch fit and quit mmm after they criticised his father. Then called anybody that criticised him “not a real fan”. I’ve been a fan since before he was born. The cup thing probably has nothing to do with it but it’s highly likely information gets passed onto his father that then makes it to CONEHEAD.

No

I'm not as upset as others. This is 12 of the starting 13 that played in the GF. We must win every game. Why not give that team a chance of redemption? Perhaps once we are mathematically zero chance of making the 8 that is the time to look towards next season.
This is a good take.

If it's another shitshow in attack and defence then give the keys to Walsh, Duffy & Mozer for the remainder of the season.

This may feel ridiculous to suggest and no way it happens in practice, but realistically Carrigan may be best used off the bench as a ~50 minute prop. His slow feet and weak wrestle is so clearly exposed when he plays long minutes and his passing is becoming less and less effective.

Haas + Willison I don't think has ever worked as a starting prop rotation because neither of them are a first hit up prop like a Barnett/Flegler/Fish. Haas works best with a play one prop partner (I think Semu and Piki both fit this role better), and I don't think its reactionary to suggest that Willison has surpassed Carrigan as a lock already. He simply holds the middle better defensively.

This would be my team list if we were only trying to win for the rest of the year (with no regard for team relations/legacy) and everyone could drop their egos, but I accept there's just no universe where Madge would drop Reynolds or Hunt, or acknowledge that Paix is not good.
