PRE-GAME [Round 21, 2026] - Broncos vs Cowboys

Feeling a bit more confident now.
I still think if the Broncos are serious, Reynolds has to be dropped now. If Walsh is in charge, Hunt makes more sense in the halves. Or Walters, if he comes back strong.
Also can Mam un-Milford himself in the next few weeks? He looks more like Thaiday, just feels a step too slow.

I have a feeling Madge will have Billy on the bench next week but I also have a nauseating, gut wrenching, soul destroying feeling he'll pick Gosiewski to replace Piakura.

Madge needs to give Reyno the tap on the shoulder, dead set. Honestly wouldn't be against:

6. Walters
7. Hunt
9. Paix
14. Mam

Omg HUNT is more shit than Reno. Please, he is not the answer at 7. Can the mention of moving him to 7 be forbidden in this thread. 🤮

No lol Reyno was THAT bad tonight that it has to be discussed. He and Walsh just don't gel well together on field. It's either all Walsh or both flounder together.

Reno looked underdone, but at least he can kick higher than 10m and pass the ball without running in a circle.

Going to be a very interesting Team-list Tuesday, even Helen Keller can see it's time to have that conversation with both Hunt and Reyno after Tonight.
Sad as it is, Madge needs to show he has that killer instinct of a top tier Coach and can make those difficult decisions when our Season's on the line.

Billy/Mozer in for Hunt at 14.
Semu to play over P.Riki

We actually only used 3 subs tonight interestingly.
PRiki cops a lot of shit, but he played 40mins (Talty 35mins) against the panthers on a wet night when it's a war in the middle.

I'm not sure Semu can get through that just yet.

Semu is young and is more explosive than he is a workhorse... he's been averaging around 20-25mins a game, but it's a big ask to throw him into that kind of war.

PRiki plays well as a bench forward, and it's been when he's thrown on as a starter that he struggles (even tonight he was on early due to Piaks HIA)... but he's averaging like 40mins a game, so I'd say we're getting decent value out of him if we assume he's basically our Jensen replacement... or even the Jhunt replacement.

Semu looks to have a bright future though and I hope he keeps developing through Qcup... he's got the right size and explosiveness about him and if he can up his motor he'll be a very handy prop for us moving forward.
