If you're talking Brooks before this year I agree. But I think he has improved his game quite well since Foz came in is all, and its not surprising to me they've dropped off without him. Maybe it wouldnt have changed much, but Ive seen far better from him this past season than prior seasons, and he's complemented/simplified Fogarty's role.My view is that the drop off to Walsh has not been that significant. I don't think Brooks would have been the difference this afternoon. How many times has he faced similar scenarios and struggled? Too many.
Which is what I was getting at with putting the team on his back. He's not that type of player - he's a follower not a leader.
