I think Brooks being out has also meant Fogarty has had to control more, and he's done it poorly. Testament to what Brooks was doing so far this season.

So its not even just about Walsh's involvement.

My view is that the drop off to Walsh has not been that significant. I don't think Brooks would have been the difference this afternoon. How many times has he faced similar scenarios and struggled? Too many.

Which is what I was getting at with putting the team on his back. He's not that type of player - he's a follower not a leader.
