I think he was extremely hypocritical really when he was Billy's coach at one point and part of the system where there was plenty of grubbiness going on. No denying it was a smart move, but I'm still surprised nobody had the sense to call him out on it.

I'd be happy that we won a premiership. I still wouldnt be happy with Madge as our coach. Didnt like his carry on as NSW coach one bit. I'll still get behind the team, but given my dislike of Maguire i think it would be disingenuous of me to be hypocritical and suddenly be a fan of his.
