I actually think Mam would make a pretty good fullback. Can move, pass, tackle for the most part, is a bit stronger so won't be driven back. Just wonder if he can catch a bomb.
1 Mam
6 Walsh
7 Reynolds> Black
9 Mozer
And then what? He definitely should face some scrutiny, but listening to a few people we'd be running out with a spine of Walsh, Mam, Black and Mozer round 1 and those last two are not ready for a starting spot yet.
Every coach I've spoken to recently says he's a five-eighth through and through and I agree. He has way too many flaws as a fullback and would thrive in the front line working both sides of the field. He can't catch, he can't tackle and he gets taken back too far. But he can pass, he can run...
I saw somewhere that Thorn made one of his players get a haircut and I reckon that’s exactly the kind of coach we need. Haircuts and deleting your instagram accounts would make a huge change in this playing group
At the moment, the only football knowledge we have at the club comes from Adam Reynolds. When Te’o and Barrett arrive it will be slightly more, but not much more.
You're the one that tried to claim moving was easier for them because they're raising them. If they're not raising them in the city they're moving to, how exactly does that make sense?
They certainly aren't raising many of them in Melbourne. Most of their team started in Sydney or Queensland and have moved to Melbourne without a complaint, and at any age. And that last part is a cop out. Players are happy to go to successful teams.
Who cares? If they don't want to play for a coach they can leave too. I'm tired of these blokes acting like they should have a say in what goes on at the club when they've achieved **** all themselves. And Reyno loved having Walters at the club because he was basically running the place...
Bellamy seems to be able to connect with every generation and he yells plenty. I'm not sure Maguire is much of a yeller, but what we need is someone to lay down the law, give these fellas a role to achieve and be able to deal with them if they don't achieve it. He also just needs to fix their...
I’ve never seen Haas make a hit up like any of these front rowers. Run hard, ten metres, hit the deck, quick play the ball. Instead he lumbers up, carries the defence three more metres while they set their defensive line, with no risk of an offload because he just doesn’t have it in him. He’s...
I’m sure others would too. Melbourne get to have a good mix of both and look at how successful they are. Why aren’t their players getting home sick and running home? Because they’re successful.
