Can't believe I sat through all that crap from the talking heads for him to flog it off... mate NRL never fine you ... you've got about half a mill in suspended fines that are never getting enacted ... go for the jugular you soft ****
 
I can't wait to see the spin the MRC put on the NAS hit to justify only giving him a fine and being able to play in the GF.

Riki should go ballistic in the media if that happens.

I also think it's the current meta. Your halves are never onside so you shut down the spread, you grapple your opponents and you never in a million years play it on the mark.

Nah, even if he gets a suspension he'll serve it next year. For the fans.

Bunn was saying a few weeks ago when he was asked how the succession planning had worked out so well that he identified that fullbacks are the new smart footballers and can play halves.

They got four of them planning for Cronk and Slater to retire- Slater was there playing, Drinkwater, Hughes, Munster, and Paps.

He was sure that the next Storm, 6, 7 and 1 would come from that group of 1's, so they coached, waited, they played Cup and worked on it.

Big brain right there.
 
Nelson got a grade 3 haha. Wtf is the judiciary. Is the Clearys on the panel? That is a pisstake. I thought he would get grade 1 but **** me
 
He will get off. The NRL loves a bit of judiciary drama during grand final week.
 
There's no possible argument that they could make. Forceful contact to the head without any attempt at all by the defender to lower contact.

In the modern game, he's lucky it's not a send off.

I'd say the Grade 3 is to make it way harder for them to downgrade it to a fine... shoulder to the head being downgraded to a fine and then being able to play in the GF would look very suss
 
If only there was a punitive system that resulted in suspensions that would then force the club/player into correcting their behaviour.

But no let’s fine blokes on 700k a couple of grand

If Riki's was a Grade 2, then NAS is a Grade 3 every day of the week.
