Mate, fantastic post which sums exactly how I am feeling about today and the season. I am not nervous at all. Win, lose or draw, we have already won this season, we have won back our self respect, our ethos and we are well on the way to winning back our aura.
So, the result does not matter to...
And the thing is, you don't know how much was said, or how bad it was, prior to them filming, classic set up. Wolfie is right though, he needs to just not bite, or if he does, say something witty like it will take him 3 days to catch me.
FMD there have historically been some shit takes by members on here, but this up in the grand final for shit takes.
About the only place I can see he goes anywhere near what is alleged is this:
“It would mean a lot to them [if we win],” Haas told this masthead. “It’s more showing my family...
Hi all, my two cents worth.
I was at uni in 1992 for the first one (I had a delayed start to uni by a few years). I had a significant and ultimately career defining event on the thursday or friday night and then flew out to Sydney with one of my brothers, his wife and my nephew. So I was there...
And one afterthought. It appears now that the Seibold appointment was a literal sliding doors moment. I wonder what would have happened if they had appointed Kev in 2019?
Was the pain the club and the young players went through necessary to temper and harden them into what they have become?
Some observations:
1. What a fantastic year, it feels so good to be back, regardless what happens on Sunday. Credit to everyone in the organisation for turning the place around so quickly. A particular mention to Dave D., Kevvie, Ben Ikin and Lee Briers.
2. That was a really mature press...
Mate, if all you are going to do is troll, just **** off and don't bother coming back. Other club supporters are welcome here if they value add, you are the very poster child of the opposite of that at the moment.
You are never going to win a whose E-peen is bigger game with Wolfie and it...
I think I am getting grumpier in my old age. This rubbish narrative about the Broncos being favoured because they have only played in Sydney (Dean Ritchie) is really getting up my nose. The old fool on NRL 360 (Slothfield) just tried to suggest we had only played outside Brisbane 3 times this...
Pretty well sums up my thoughts. If they play to the standard they did against Newcastle, they could beat us if we are even off by 10-15%. The difference is though, we won't (hopefully) start as bad as the Knights did, we will throw more at them in attack compared to the Knights and our defence...
Really impressed with Baker, only one error so far is the missed tackle on Grant, other than that he has been superb. Looks like a great buy for us. Nice off-load in traffic as well.
