I buy 2-3 jerseys every year, I like getting the alternative ones. The Return to Redfern jersey is going to get a bit of wear this year. Oh and no centre link payments here.
From the first 2 games, I thought there was a lot of good things from the Super League teams. Souths dominated from start to finish and made St Helens look average. St Helens will bounce back and probably smash their next Super League team.
I think it is hard to compare jersey sales from the other sports on the basis of the player number system. Yes the designs might be plain in a majority of other sports. The big difference in their favour, is the consumer buys for the player. So you want a Bulls jersey, many still get Jordan's...
Our main jersey design will rarely change. Mostly the sponsors change and small stuff that no one really cares about. Though in saying that we will probably have a few variation jerseys for next year. Pretty sure we had 4 variation ones this year. It is getting expensive when I buy them all lol.
I don't have much interest in cars or motorsports. It was on tv and I basically ended up watching the last 30 laps while eating dinner. Interesting finish. You have to feel for the guy who stalled his car in the pits.
Nah I understand completely. Russell's way of doing things are a bit out there and fair enough. Yet, he is a rugby league guy through and through. People might hate Souths, they can atleast give him the benefit that what he wants to do is improve the image and brand of Rugby League.
Thanks for...
I can't believe it. What a year!!!! Haven't had much sleep from last night and I am sun burnt from being at the fan day today.
Can't wait to go through all my photos and hope they turned out alright.
Even better we have the Red and Green Ball on Friday, going to be great.
I was about to say that.
Frankly I think the game is getting too PC. While I agree this tackle is in the same grade as others that have seen players get 1 week and they got off as they didn't have the carry over points.
We are just going over board on the "lifting" tackle. While you can...
I sure was. I have never felt this before and it is magical, it doesn't feel real or it won't hit me until next weekend. Maybe because I was so emotionally involved in the match itself.
I won't lie, there were tears of joy and sadness for dad. Also a lot of man/woman love with friends we have...
I didn't think he was that bad a coach. Our 2007 defence at stages was up there with our current sort of defence. I honestly can't remember 2008 or 2009 that well, they just all blur into years of so much promise but so much disappointment.
I still feel the whole Fa'alogo incident was a cheap...
Big Pete. Going back to the NYC game. Do you think the Tigers player should have received 10 mins for what looked like a deliberate tackle to the head after the kick? We were giving it to the player as they kept reviewing it.
I also found the Tigers wrestled more like a first grade team do...
He is talking about the Slater on the ground one.
Fair enough on that, should have been penalised but then you have a few high shots from Myles and Smith that were missed so it evens out.
- Gallen hit him with his shoulder, the swinging arm never connected to anything high. Happens half of the time the player submits in the tackle.
- Blame Thurston for the brain snap. But not the first time he has done that over the past 9 years, Hodges has done it before as well. How many years...
I think we just wanted to complete out sets and get back into some form. We played pretty well but had a bit of a leg up in the first half from the refs. Still got a lot to improve.
